The Highway To Beautiful Hair
If you are reading this article to find a cure for hair loss or a cure for dandruff, you have hit the nail on the head. By the time you are through with reading this, you will have learned numerous ways to prevent hair loss and of dandruff treatment. Herbal sciences have been instrumental in devising various methodical ways which have resulted in providing hair loss remedy, alopecia cure, and what's more, even a cure for baldness.
Hair loss has been a major cause of worry in the environment. It has been prevalent in both the sexes in an equally dominating manner. While the loss of hair can be due to heredity, aging and hormones it is mainly due to an unbalanced diet, high stress, and infectious diseases etc. Therefore, our primary aim should be to visit a hair loss doctor and identify the cause before enlisting for any type of hair loss remedy. Women sometimes undergo hair loss during and after menopause, and even after childbirth.
The basic reason for hair loss is improper care and under nourished diet. Our effort should be to keep our scalp clean from dirt and any other foreign material. Regular brushing of hair by a good quality brush and massaging to improve blood circulation is also important. A person undergoing hair loss treatment should opt for a diet rich in iron combined with vitamin C, which helps the body in absorption of iron. Moreover, excessive perming, dyeing, bleaching and massage should be avoided as it may turn the hair brittle and make them rough, thereby resulting in hair loss.
If you are undergoing hair loss treatment or that for dandruff cure, you should be cautious while using cosmetics for hair and should seek advice from a hair loss doctor before adhering to them. It is recommended that you use a shampoo which has a pH less then seven (acidic), doesn't cause irritation and facilitates secretion of natural oils. Also, hair should be properly dried after bathing by mild exposure to the sun or by a drier. Rubbing the hair for drying should be avoided.
Dandruff cure lies in keeping the scalp clean from dirt and any other foreign material. Some people do have an inherent problem of dandruff due to excessive sebum secretion. Boric acid has been prevalent as a popular cure for dandruff. A solution of boric acid in water can be rubbed into the scalp and washed after sometime with a quality shampoo. Use of lemon and lemon leaves is also recommended by hair loss doctors for a clean scalp.
Medicated shampoos especially made for dandruff removal may also carry out dandruff treatment. Regular use of such a shampoo may control excessive production of new cells in the scalp which result in dandruff. These shampoos are microbial, anti inflammatory and produce a desired result if used under the supervision of a hair loss doctor.
Get going. The transition phase is about to begin. Seek advice from your hair loss doctor regarding cure for hair loss or cure for dandruff and follow it zealously to regain your beautiful hair and overall, the most delicate and adorable part of your body.

Simple Hair Care Tips for Beautiful Hair
Against frizz
What do you do when you're away from home and your hair suddenly goes "boing!"?
It's not practical to drag your straightening iron everywhere you go, but you can pack a small bottle of styling product in your purse. When trouble strikes, run some instant conditioner, curl-enhancer or anti-frizz serum through your unruly locks to keep them totally spazzing.
Silky hair
To get a smooth hair with enjoyable touch, apply a simple method: prepare a "mayo" with one yolk and 2 teaspoons of olive-oil. Apply the mixture on your hair before washing. Then cover the hair with packaging foil and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Finally, wash your hair with warmish water and baby shampoo and rinse it well.
Shine on
More natural shine for your hair? After washing the hair with the proper shampoo and after rinsing, pour one little bottle of warmish mineral water on your hair. The minerals fro the water makes the hair shiny - they have a pronounced reflection-capacity and interesting light-reflection. And it really works!
Over-use of a flat iron splits and fries hair-ends making them look like synthetic dolls' hair. Use it less and save your hair by blow-drying with a flat, paddle brush or a double-brush. The double-brush looks like a flatiron but it's lined with bristles and used with a blow-dryer. Don't forget to use a straightening product or a leave-in conditioner.
Don't put wet hair into pony-tail
Wet hair is weak and hair strands can snap off wound up in a hair-tie. Let the hair dry completely before tying it up. If time is an issue, then wash your hair the night before.
Preserve your hair color
Like any extra stress you put on your hair, coloring makes the hair weaker and can cause breakage, which is why it's so important to deep-condition to lock in moisture. If you're heat-styling your hair frequently, be sure to protect it with a gel or salve, which will ensure that the heat burns away the product and not your hair color. Also, be mindful of your shampoo and conditioner: Tailor them to your hair type and color to prevent fading and brassiness.
Great use of vinegar
After shampooing your hair, use 2oz. of brown vinegar (if hair is dark or in brown category) or white vinegar (if hair is grey, light, or colored blonde) to 8oz of water. Mix. pour over hair and work it through.
Rinse. Do not shampoo. Hair will smell fresh, and your scalp will have an astringent treatment as well. The vinegar closes the cuticle of the hair, thus, letting the hair reflect light .The hair will shine like a new dime! Vinegar rinses also help keep down bacteria growth on the scalp and cures dandruff.

Sally's Beauty Hair Care
Hair products are very important if you want to have healthy hair. These products help your hair be whatever you want it to be. If you want healthy hair, there is a hair product for that. If you have thin hair but you want thick, there are various shampoos that can do this as well. Anything you want to do with your scalp can be accomplished with hair care products. However, it's easy to get lost in the amount of products that are on the market. These products can be very expensive, or very cheap. As with most things, it's best to stay away from the absolute extremes unless you know what you're doing. A good example of a salon style hair product is sally's beauty.
Before choosing a hair care product, decide what you want to do with your style. If you have short hair, you're obviously going to want to stay away from products that are meant for long. If you're thinking about dying your hair, you're going to need to get shampoos that help the color stay in, and the scalp stay healthy. These are all different hair care products, and sally's beauty has a line of products that fit all of these needs.
Many people get hair products because they feel their scalp is damaged. With new hair dryer's and hair straightener's that people use, your scalp can get very damaged quickly. The best way to prevent this is to use shampoo that will strengthen your hair so it can handle this kind of treatment. Sally's beauty has hair care products the do this, as shampoos and conditioners. Conditioners are what really help, as they stay in your scalp more than the shampoo does. The shampoo deep cleans the hair, and the conditioner makes sure your scalp will stay strong as you dry and style it.
There are a ton of different hair care products on the market. You need to make sure you get the right one for your scalp, or you'll be wasting your money. Sally's beauty has many care products that can help your hair. These products are salon quality, which means they're meant for professional use. If you get a sally's beauty care product, you can be sure that you will be properly treated. You can use straighteners and dryers on your scalp without risk of damaging it as well.

WHAT IS ALOPECIA?
This condition refers to losing the hair from your scalp or any part of your body that has hair follicles. It can be due to hereditary, certain medications or medical conditions. Native Americans, Indians and many in the Caribbean have followed this method to get beautiful hair with aloe. Because of it's soothing effect on skin, aloe can reduce seborrhea, otherwise known as dandruff and relieve the dry, itchy skin on your scalp.
HOW TO STOP HAIR LOSS WITH ALOE VERA
There are many shampoos, conditioners and other hair care products that contain aloe. Additionally, there are special hair oils that contain aloe vera extract that can be rubbed into your scalp. Hair care products that feature aloe combined with natural ingredients like coconut oil, joboba oil, vitamins and herbal extracts are very valuable. These concoctions will strengthen the therapeutic effects of the product, stimulate hair growth and make your hair stronger, softer and healthier.
Another way you can get beautiful hair is to use the gel from a fresh stalk of aloe. Before going to bed, dab a little bit of it on your scalp with your fingers and wash it out the next day. Aloe vera stalks can easily be found at your local supermarket or nursery.
If you notice that your hair is thinning and are looking to prevent hair loss, make use of natural ingredients such as aloe. It's an easy, natural and inexpensive solution. You can stop hair loss with aloe vera. It can become your best hair medicine, even if you aren't balding!

Natural Beauty Hair Care Information and Tips
Hair care is and always will be a hot topic, and with so much hype and controversy over the ever so common synthetic ingredients being used in today's products, it is no wonder why more and more people are moving toward more natural beauty hair care products and treatments.
Natural hair care treatments are starting to become more readily available on the market, and with more and more people looking to moving to these more natural treatments, you can be sure that you will soon find all types of products for all your hair care needs.
Natural beauty and hair care haven't always been a high priority for most people. With aisles of shampoo's, conditioners, styling gels, mousses, and other hair care products, many people have had so many choices that its hard to decide what to get and what will actually work. So with new natural and organic products coming onto the market, many consumers are getting confused and frustrated when it comes to picking out which ones to use. Here you will find some simple tips to help you in your quest for a natural beauty hair care product, and hopefully these tips will help you get rid of some of the frustration of picking out hair care products in general.
1. Read the labels - you can easily spot products that contain a lot of synthetic ingredients by looking at the back of the products. The longer the names, and the more un-pronouncable these names are, the more synthetic the product is. Natural products will have a lot of botanical names, and herbal names in their ingredient list. And these botanical names should be as high on the list as they possibly can. If they are the last ingredients listed, that means that there is probably not a lot of that ingredient in the total product.
2. Avoid anything that says "paraben" in the name. Paraben's are preservatives, and while preservatives are necessary in your natural beauty products, paraben's aren't the safest route to go when preserving. Paraben's have a whole list of harmful side effects, and excluding them from your beauty products is best.
3. Check out product reviews online if you have questions. There are so many reviews to find online that there is no reason to be blindly picking out products because they either look or smell nice. Check out the best natural beauty makers, like Origins, or Burt's Bees and see what they have to offer. By simply doing a Google search you can find tons of products for just about any need you are faced with
4. Find natural beauty alternatives to using manufactured products. Ingredients such as carrier oils, and essential oils are often easily available online, and many can be incorporated easily into you beauty routine without the hassle of having to deal with a whole slew of ingredients. This site provides some great natural beauty articles to help with a variety of beauty problems.
As you can see, by simply using some of these above tips, you can easily reduce your risk of adding harmful or potentially harmful products into your life. Its not hard, and it doesn't take a lot of time to go natural with your beauty regimen.

Beautiful Hair
There are many hair products out there today that are meant to give you beautiful hair, some work some do not. Whatever you choose you need to be sure that it is going to work, otherwise you are doing nothing other then wasting time and money. Sometimes you can actually do more harm than good, if you get the wrong product for your hair. It is very important for you to know what works for your hair and what does not. This will help you obtain the most beautiful and healthy hair possible. When you are looking at obtaining new hair care products, it does not hurt to not only shop around but also to do some research over the Internet. This will give you the best shot at finding what is going to work for you best.
Shampoos And Conditioners
When it comes to beautiful hair, one of the first things that people think about is shampoos and conditioners. It is very important to find the right mixes of these items for your hair, as this will keep your hair from drying out or getting too oily. There are hundreds of products on the market, that can be found anywhere from the best of salons all the way down the line to the bargain bin stores and dollar shops that grace the strip malls. You need to understand that many of the finer products are expensive for a reason, and the difference of 5 dollars per bottle between the dollar store and the salon will actually benefit your hair greatly. Knowing where to shop is vital, if you are looking for hair care products that are going to actually help you.
Hot Oil Treatments
If you are looking for beautiful hair, then you may want to consider hot oil treatments for your hair. This is a great product for those that have unmanageable hair and or color treated hair. This product will help those that cannot seem to get a grip on the dryness of their hair, and are looking for something more. The hot oil treatments can be found virtually anywhere today, and it is easy to find these hair products in places like pharmacies and even grocery stores near you. These treatments take very little time to perform, and they do actually leave your hair soft and shiny. This is definitely a great way to get the hair you want, and you will not have to spend a great deal of money to do it.
Regular Hair Cuts
If you are looking for beautiful hair, one of the first places that you should go to is the hair stylist or barber. Having a trim every 6-8 weeks is actually very healthy for your hair, and this will give you the beautiful hair that you desire. The hair trimming is not nearly as expensive as a cut wash and style, so it will not really hurt your pocket book.

Last night I was heading straight from the office for drinks to celebrate a few of my work girlies' Birthdays. What a night it was... and what an awful day it has been today.
Dress: Zara (later worn with black cardigan). I also wore black patent heels from New Look. I really don't like NL very much because most of the clothes are such poor quality. Personally I would rather save and buy one nice item, that will last, than ten that are going to disintegrate in the wash. However, the shoes in NL are nothing to be sniffed at. They have some nice designs, are super affordable, comfortable and give me peace of mind as so often expensive shoes get ruined (after one outing in the lovely London rain).
I hope you all had a good Friday night my lovelies! I'm going back to bed to nurse my poor head. My own fault really.. why did I ever think it would be a good idea to mix about 14 different types of cocktails and shots in one night??? :( xxx

Hair Highlight Styles
Colour adds life to any element. Hair cuts and hairstyles are now back with retro styles. Hair colouring is a evolved business and many properties regarding allergies and longevity of the colour are taken into consideration. Colour additions are presented in the market interestingly. It is always advisable to check for allergies prior to the application of hair colour. Again if you are doing the colouring yourself use tight fitting gloves so as to avoid direct contact with the colouring agent.
Highlighted styles for wavy hair look elegant. Colouring hair is not about painting but involves lot of hard work and skill. There is low lighting for darkening hair. Chunky painting of hair colour should be done with care or will result in patchy application. There are simple ways to highlight a hair. If you visit a salon, the experience though expensive will yield better results. Colour of the hair says a lot about personality and style. Streaking hair in yellow and white is a good idea. Here the idea is minimalising the hair colour yet maintaining a style about the hair.
For party events updo hair styles on highlighted hair adds a lot of character. Gowns, jewelry, stilettos and accessories add up to the magic of a updo hairstyles. Hair colour also cuts age if used brilliantly. Loud colours like red should not be tried for corporate employees. Temporary hair colours need to be checked for quality and usually experimented by teenagers. Foil method of hair coloring is a great skill and is time consuming. But there is a distinct kind of sectionized coloring in this case.
Touching up the hair colour is also important. Use darker shades towards the roots and colour the hair from back to front. There is a lot of consideration to be given to the colour of the eyes and skin tone before you venture into highlighting your hair. If you have brown or chestnut kind of colour then the right kind of lipstick has to be worked out. Eye shadows and earrings too add style to the entire look.
It is natural for you to appreciate a personality featuring in the glamour magazine. You may also take the picture to suggest the same to your stylist. But there are aspects of lifestyle demands, celebrity status and other hair care techniques which need to be adhered after colouring the hair. The stylist may suggest mixing two colours to get the correct look that will flatter your skin and features.
Processing the hair immediately after colouring is not recommended. Conditioning with a deep moisturizer is important as hair colours are potent with their chemicals and cause dry and damaged hair. Use a scarf if you need to step in the sun or avoid catching a rain shower. Short, long, bob or wavy hair looks great with the range of colours for highlighting.
Hair highlights look great on all kinds of haircuts and hairstyles be it Bob haircuts, layered hairstyles, short haircut.

I assure you no zebras were harmed in the making of this outfit ;). This shirt is definitely not for everyone, but my love of Cougar Town knows no bounds and when I saw it I had to have it. During the day I wore it with a plain black cardigan so only the collar and cuffs were on show, which toned it down and made it much less 'flashy'.
Shirt: Hawes & Curtis. Pearl cufflinks: Hawes &Curtis. Fishtale skirt: M&S.
Since it was raining (and excrutiatingly windy to the point where I had to cling on to a wall for support in my stilettos) I decided to braid my hair into a simple side swept fishtail braid. I was inspired by the numerous gorgeous, thick, tousled braids on the catwalk recently, though you definitely need quite a few wefts of clip ins to recreate the look! I made mine sleek and trapped the flyaways with lashings of Andrew Collinge serum (akin to Frizz Ease).
So tell me.. did I scare you with the satin zebra ;)? xxx

All about hair :)
So many of you have requested a video showing what products I use in my hair, that I finally succumbed. To tell you the truth, my hair is not in great shape atm. I hated my last haircut and since then have been curling it pretty much every day in an attempt to hide the horrible disjointed, choppy layers. So now, I have ended up with very dry and split ends, but am still very wary of getting it cut again as the top layers are far too short.
I have been using the products mentioned below to try and combat the dry frizz and hopefully let my hair grow.

Work it Out: Installment Huit (Yay for rain!)
Since it was raining all day, and I didn't want to wear a jacket or trench, I decided to dive back into my winter wardrobe.
Dress: Zara. Strappy top underneath to hide the inappropriate decolletage: Zara. (Can you tell I love Zara yet?) Silver necklace: Lisa Taves (from Lorraine Stanick's blog).
This dress is pretty warm as it is part wool, but as it has short sleeves it's still versatile. I definitely look out for cap sleeved work dresses as they are flattering on the 'bingo wings' and I feel they look much more professional (sleeveless can leave a little too much on show, some people really underestimate the power of bare shoulders) ;).
On a side note I have to confess that I am so grateful for the rain! My hay fever has abated and I can actually breathe for the first time in months :). I am sure all you poor allergy prone lovelies know what I am talking about. Summer is beautiful, but from March to October I wake up with what feels like a horrible cold every morning - sore, itchy throat, watery eyes and a nose that won't stop running/ sneezing/ hurting no matter how many antihistamines I ply it with.
Are you all as relieved as I am to see some precipitation on the horizon? xxx

Monday morning means 9am meeting. Sorry for the poor photo, but I was running very late...
Dress: French Connection. Blazer: Zara (the sleeves are full length, but I bunch them up to make it a little more casual). Suede pumps: Zara.
A white jacket is a great alternative to black, especially if you want to stand out of the grey crowd. I particularly like this blazer as it has angular shoulders that give it structure, and military button detailing on the cuffs, to rein it in from looking too summer garden party or mother of the bride ;).
Hope you are all having a good start to the week! xxx

Sunday's OOTD
Sundays are always painful, and when the sun is out it makes the regret of over indulging the night before even more tangible. Despite a not so glamorous morning of cleaning, and nursing my head, I was determined to give my Summer (non-work) wardrobe an outing. Oh and wear in my new shoes!
Top: from Forever 21 (bought in Dubai last Easter). Skirt: River Island. Shoes: Kurt Geiger (Pandora in Tan, also available in black). Coral bracelet: Egyptian market. Sunglasses and watch: Dior.
Do you want to see a close up of the shoes? Please ignore my horrible feet, still haven't had time to book that pedi :(.
These beautiful stilts are currently in the Kurt Geiger sale. After spotting a lonely size 3 in House of Fraser I went on a hunt, determined to make them mine (much to the amusement of my male colleagues as I desperately rang around every KG in London looking for my size). The next morning I was asked by various people if I had "managed to catch the elusive Tandoras in size 38" lol!
Hope you all had a good weekend and if you haven't had a chance to check out the Kurt Geiger sale yet I highly recommend it!! I may or not have bought 3 pairs of shoes... I can neither confirm, not deny that rumour ;). xxx

Jennifer Aniston Beauty Short Hairstyles
Jennifer Aniston's short hairstyle makes use of long, shiny layers with a slight A-line shape that makes her hairstyle different from the others. You can observe that it is shorter and has more fullness at the bottom. When she trims her hair, she combs thoroughly and cuts the hair across in a straight manner.
When the hair gets dried, the scissors are held in a vertical position snipping into the ends of the front layers so that they would be a little jagged. A softer edge is produced by just a little application of layering.
If your hair is fine, you can have a little rounded style with your cut to get fullness of the short hairstyle. The use of many hair products results in a lank and heavy appearance for your short hairstyle. Rub a drop of serum on your hand for smoothing of the hair then run it thru the damp ends prior to blow-drying.
When the hair is dry, use more serum on the ends to create a nice, shining separation effect. Jennifer makes use of a large, round brush to produce smooth and straight natural waves. She uses flat-ironing from the mid-shaft to the ends of the layers to avoid a pressed-straight look of the hairstyle.

So Friday... London... 32oC... public transport... pavements melting... are you getting my drift? Thank Goodness it's the weekend! We unfortunately don't have casual Fridays at work, but I have my own little version going (shhh don't tell HR!!). I always wear something a little more bold, bright or short on Fridays... just because everyone is already in the holiday spirit and I feel that I can get away with it ;).
Dress: Zara. Black ballet pumps: Zara. Bracelet: Fossil.
The guys at work call this my 'nurse' dress lol. Quite appropriate really as I left work early today to visit a friend in hospital (she is fine btw). I'm sure if nurses dressed like this hospitals (or at least the men in hospitals) would be much happier.
Happy Weekend Sunshine everyone! xxx

We all have lazy hair days. I have crazy hair days. The heat and humidity is making my hair static and even more frizzy than usual so today I just blow dried the top flat(ish) and scraped and twisted it back into a low bun. I find this really helps to calm my hair down and if I decide to take it down later the twists create lovely, natural curls sans flyaways.
Dress: Warehouse. Necklace: black/indigo pearls from Egyptian market.
I love the shape of this dress and the scalloping detail at the bust as it gives curvy girls like me some definition and support without over exposing 'the humps'. The back is also pretty as the same pleated effect is used in the slit of the skirt in the back. However, with that comes the annoying tendency of the skirt to ride up as you walk, creating a lovely looking kangaroo pouch (pictured above) for my tummy. Now, where did I put that little Roo?
You can see the scalloping better here. Makeup wise, pretty boring really - MAC Vanilla on the lid and Wedge in the crease, NARS Laguna bronzer, MAC hipness blush and Anatomicals stop cracking up lip balm (which probably deserves it's own post as it is perfect - clear, glossy, non-sticky, moisturising and long-lasting oh and super cheap!).
Have you got any frizz fighting secrets? The frizz-ease is just not cutting it for me in this heat. I need your help girlies! xxx
